Hi, I’m ieva (Yeah-va)

I spent over a decade as a choreographer, trying to understand what motivates people in their everyday lives; it is not the big life events that define us, but the 100s of small everyday actions and decisions we make. When the time came to find a new career focus, I discovered UX design, where I can continue to learn about the human condition, to ask “why” and utilise my creatively driven problem-solving skills.

The rigour of asking Why and of backing up my every decision was such an enjoyable part of the creative process. I searched for an area where I could utilize these skills and interests. What motivates people, what hurdles they face in everyday life, and how can I help solve that?

I was thrilled to discover UX, which matched my need to question and analyze with my interest in the human condition
